Mon bloc d’exercices – Pédagogie de Singapour is a book published by Flammarion Jeunesse, designed to support children in primary school as they learn mathematics. There are 5 workbooks, from CP to CM2.
Based on the Singapore method, each workbook offers 90 math exercises, designed to help students practice and deeply understand mathematical concepts.
These workbooks were designed as a natural extension of the myBlee application, offering a complementary paper-based support perfectly aligned with digital learning.
The Singapore method at the heart of the book
In these workbooks, Laetitia Grail-Marcel builds on a strong conviction: everyone can be good at math in primary school. There is no inevitability, only the need to explain well, practice regularly, and progress step by step.
The method presented is inspired by the Singapore method, internationally recognized for its effectiveness.
It is based on progression from concrete to abstract through visual representations. Children manipulate, observe, represent situations, then gradually formalize mathematical concepts.
Each concept is approached through increasing levels of difficulty to enable smooth, deep, and lasting acquisition.
The goal is not to multiply meaningless exercises, but to develop real fluency in calculation and a solid understanding of fundamental concepts.
