myBlee School Partner Schools

myBlee School has supported international and bilingual schools since 2014. No matter which bilingual model your school follows, whether it be alternating instruction, subject-by-language assignment, or a 50/50 split, myBlee provides unique flexibility for co-teaching.

When you select your curriculum (French National Education, UK Cambridge Primary, PYP IB, Swiss HarmoS or USA CCSS) as well as your grade level (from kindergarten through 6th grade), myBlee automatically offers you exercises and lessons aligned with your curriculum and adapted to your level.

Why use our math app in schools?

Mathematics teaching in myBlee is based on the most effective pedagogical approaches in the world: Singapore Method, JUMP Math, and Kumon. The myBlee pedagogy draws inspiration from the strengths of each, in order to get the best from them.

It offers students and teachers clear and simple resources to use, covering all learning areas, from mental calculation to problemsolving, accompanied by tracking tools for schools. The myBlee method has a proven track-record with schools and students.

Two math software tools that communicate with each other

myBlee is the reference math tool to support the teaching and learning of mathematics. Designed to be intuitive, flexible, and based on the best international pedagogical practices, myBlee combines a math app for iPad (myBlee School) with over 2,000 lessons and countless exercises, and a Teacher Dashboard to guide and personalize learning for teachers.

The platform's clear organization by major mathematical categories, combined with a methodical progression through modules of increasing difficulty, provides rigorous and engaging learning for kindergarten through 6th grade students in French, English, and Spanish, making it ideal for bilingual international schools programs.

The teacher dashboard for schools

The myBlee Dashboard is the key component for teachers: it centralizes all information and allows them to closely guide math learning. From this interface, teachers can assign math exercises to the whole class, to a group, or to individual students, allowing them to personalize each student’s learning path.

Software designed for international and bilingual schools

To date, no truly bilingual math textbook exists that naturally alternates French and English within a single method.

myBlee fills this gap: the suite of software offers a coherent framework, a common progression for all classes in international schools, and pedagogical resources specifically designed for bilingual practice. This ensures a uniform level of expectation in math, regardless of the language of instruction.

Each teacher has their own Dashboard in their language, while students can work in myBlee School in French, English, or Spanish, independently of the teacher’s language. Assessments also need to be designed in both languages.

Practical application: myBlee in bilingual settings

A student can begin a mathematics chapter in English with their English-speaking teacher, then continue it in French/Spanish with their French/Spanish-speaking teacher, without loss of tracking or pedagogical disruption.

The exercises adapt automatically. For example, students can practice setting up a division using both English and French in myBlee.

For instance, with the module Measuring a line segment. In English, the module Measuring Line Segments (metric system) is complemented by the Measuring Line Segments (inches) module because the school chose the PYP-IB curriculum with American-French bilingual teaching.

The fundamental principles of math pedagogy with myBlee

Math mathematics teaching in myBlee is rooted in the most effective pedagogical practices identified globally. Singapore Math, JUMP Math, Kumon, all proven references that share a rigorous and progressive approach to math learning.

Beyond internationally known methods, there are many other effective approaches. Some have a name, like MHM (Heuristic Method of Mathematics), while others are more discreet, directly stemming from teachers’ experience or inspired by great Western educators such as Maria Montessori.

Each contributes to the whole by offering tools, progressions, or specific frameworks that enrich pedagogical reflection. It is with this spirit of openness that myBlee seeks to identify and integrate the best practices from these different influences.

This strategy does not rely on adopting a single method exclusively: it draws inspiration from the strengths of each one to get the best out of them. The fundamental principles of math teaching that follow are the result of this synthesis, combining rigor, creativity, and efficiency.

myBlee Math is a valuable tool for my CM1 class. I use it daily to review concepts we have already covered. It is an excellent tool for differentiation. This is the second year our school has used myBlee Math. With the free pilot, we were able to test the app without pressure or obligation.
